Why should I insure with Moonrock?

As a drone enthusiast, you know how thrilling it is to take to the skies. With Moonrock, you can do so with peace of mind. We offer top-tier, A-rated insurance tailored for hobbyist drone pilots. It’s fast and easy to get insured, so you can focus on flying!

Do I need to buy insurance?

Your drone is an investment, and accidents happen. Insurance helps protect you from the financial impact of repairing or replacing your drone if it’s damaged. But it’s not just about the drone – if your drone accidentally injures someone or damages their property, you could be held responsible. That’s where public liability insurance comes in, and we can help you figure out what coverage you need.

Why might I need public liability insurance for my drone?

Depending on where you fly and the type of drone you’re using, public liability insurance may be legally required under EC 785/2004. Even if it’s not mandatory, having coverage is a smart way to protect yourself in case an unexpected mishap happens while you’re flying. It’s peace of mind for those ‘just in case’ moments!

What does drone public liability insurance cover?

Our public liability insurance covers third-party damages – whether it’s property damage or injury caused by your drone. If your drone accidentally causes harm, our insurance ensures you’re not left with the bill.
